Contact Us →The Kingdom film franchise is one of Japan’s modern movie successes attracting more than 17.34 million viewers in total. It is based on the manga by Yasuhisa Hara, which appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump. The Kingdom story follows a sweeping history filled with belief fierce goals and the unwavering chase of dreams. Shinsuke Sato directed the 2019 film and the screenplay was written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, Shinsuke Sato and Yasuhisa Hara. That film set a standard for visual power and emotional depth in Japanese live‑action movies.
The heart of the Kingdom film’s drama is the music score, written by Yutaka Yamada. In this concert the Kingdom film shows for the full 134 minutes with every original sound, dialogue and effect kept exactly as it is. At the time a complete live orchestra plays Yamada’s dramatic score on stage perfectly in sync with the movie. This combination makes the Kingdom characters feel more real and makes the battle scenes feel more tense giving an experience that a normal cinema cannot match.
Watching a cinema concert in Japan gives a top‑tier production where sound design and visuals come together. It takes place in halls like the Tokyo International Forum and the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall. Every show unites conductors and well‑known orchestras such as the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra and the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra. Katsuhiro Ida leads the music and the concert includes cello solos, by Takayoshi Okuizumi and Arisa Inamoto. This keeps the performance deep and special for each city.
